of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, and personal
checks. If you choose to send a personal check, please notify us
beforehand by phone or email.

| Can I upgrade
between the different payment plans after I make the initial purchase?
Absolutely, and you save money by doing so. A 6-month purchase
at $209.70 equates to 1 free month since you are saving $30.00, and
the annual purchase at $359.40 equates to 3 free months since you
are saving $120.

| Are there
any additional fees, such as set up costs?
Absolutely not. Set up is free, there are no hidden charges, so
all you have to do is sign up and begin using your site immediately.

| Do I have
to live in the United States to purchase a website?
Absolutely not. Our websites are purchased from all over the world.
However, you must have an international credit card for making payments.
Your credit card will be debited in your country’s currency
and the final payment will be made in U.S. dollars.

| How do
I pay for my site during my 15-days free trial period or after expiry?
At any time before the end of your 15-days free trial, you may
go directly to Your Admin Console, login and pay for your website.
Your website admin will give you the options for our different
packages and you can make your purchase directly from there.
If your trial period has expired then you don't need to worry as we give you 15-days grace period during which your
site contents will remain in our database (you will have
access to your admin area), but will no longer be available to your
customers. You should purchase any package within this grace period
to continue our services without any interruptions.

How
does the recurring payment work?
Payment for your subscription is due in advance of the subscription
period you select. The appropriate annual, semi-annual, or monthly
fee for your subscription will be billed automatically at the beginning
of each renewal period to the credit card you designated during
the registration process (or have subsequently changed) unless you cancel
your subscription before the renewal period begins. Attorney Café
will consider the expiry date on your credit card as the expiry
date of your subscription account with us. You shall be prompted
to renew your service when your expiry date is a month away.

What
is your cancellation policy?
Your admin interface allows you to cancel your service at
any time. You may also cancel your subscription to
Attorney Café by notifying our Customer Service Department
at either info@attorneycafe.com
or by calling 1-888-OWN-CAFÉ (Hours of operation: Monday-Friday
8:30 am- 5:30 pm CST). Cancellation will take effect no later than
10 business days after we receive your notification. Our refunds
are as follows:
- Monthly subscriptions will not be reimbursed or refunded.
- Semi-Annual subscriptions will be reimbursed on a Pro-Rated
basis at the ongoing Monthly Subscription fee (currently $39.95
per month) since the offer is to provide a discount to the consumer
who chooses to commit to the Semi-Annual Plan.
- Annual subscriptions will be reimbursed on a Pro-Rated basis
at the ongoing Monthly Subscription fee (currently $39.95 per
month) since the offer is to provide a discount to the consumer
who chooses to commit to the Annual Plan.

| Do I have
to finish my site in one go?
No, at any stage during the construction of your site you can stop
and return to finish yourwork at any future time.

| How many
modifications can I make to the website?
UNLIMITED and FREE, you can add and remove pages, text, and images
as many times as you wish. You can make these changes before and
after you publish the site, and all changes will be implemented
instantaneously on your site. You can make changes anywhere to your
site from in the world, all you need is access to the Internet.

| Can I make
modifications to my site after it has been published on the Internet?
Absolutely, all changes you make in the site manager will take
effect online as soon as you have made the changes in the Admin Console.

| Do I permanently
lose the Newsletter, Register, or Poll feature if I deactivate the
feature?
Not at all, you can activate or deactivate the features as often
as you wish. In addition, you can rearrange their sequence on your
site as well.

| What if
I have questions while I am building my site, where can I go for
help?

and we will get back to you hopefully within the same business day
depending on when we receive your inquiry. In addition, you may
call 888-OWN-CAFÉ during normal business hours between 8:30
– 5:30 CST and one of our customer service representatives
will be available to assist you.

| Do I need
a logo to make my site complete?
No. The logo feature is available to those who have one and would
like to upload it to the site.
|
| How do
I upload my logo?
In your Admin Console, click on the Customize Website button, and
then click on the Browse button, which will allow you to browse
your computer for a logo file to upload. Once you have selected
the file, click on the Update button.

| In what
format does my logo need to be saved and is there a size limitation?
We accept jpegs (jpgs) or gifs. The recommended size is 180w x
90h pixels.

| Do I have
to find a host for my website or will Attorney Café be hosting
the site for me?
We offer hosting as a standard feature. In addition, for added
comfort, our hosting is done through RackSpace.com, one of the leading
providers of hosting services in the industry.

| Will there
be advertisements on my website?
Absolutely not. Your site shall only carry a link back to Attorney
Café through a line saying “Powered by Attorney Café".

| What will
my domain name be?
There are two options for choosing your domain/sub-domain name.
Firstly, you may opt for the free sub-domain name which will read
<yourchosenname>.attorneycafe.com, or secondly, you may purchase
your own personalized domain name from a domain name provider which will read www.<personalizeddomainname>.com. |
| How
do I use my own personal domain name versus the sub-domain (username.attorneycafe.com)?
There are two options. First, try contacting your domain manager
and explain to them you need to utilize your Advanced Domain Settings
and give them the sub-domain name and they should know what you
are talking about.
Secondly, you can login into your domain manager account (ex. register.com,
registerfly.com, etc.), and follow these instructions.
- Login into your domain manager account
- Select the domain you want to use
- Click on the Advanced DNS (mx, mxe, cname, address, zone file)
management.
- Host Name: enter *
- Pref: put 10
- Choose the CNAME [Alias] from record type select box
- Address Column: yourusername.attorneycafe.com
- Click on Save Settings.
Remember, some domain managers might have a slight different variation,
but this is generally the required fields.
Once completed, please be patient, some domains take a while (sometimes
a couple of hours) before the domain name goes into effect.
Our admin will automatically be notified that you want to utilize your own domain
name
when you register with Attorney Café. Once notified, we will take the proper steps to activate your domain
name with server specific configurations at our end, so as allow your
own domain be utilized. However, it takes about 24 hours after we
make the update for the domain to be fully active. In the meantime,
feel free to utilize your site for example by adding content with your
sub-domain.

| Do
I get Email Accounts?
Yes, you will get 10 Email Accounts. You automatically get a default
email account during the sign up process in Step 3 of 3. However,
to set up additional email accounts, you will need to Login in your
Admin Area and click on the "Manage Email Account" link. |
| How
do I view my Email Account?
To view your Email account, you can do one of two things. First,
you may Login to the Admin area and click on the "Check Email"
link. or, you may type in www.attorneycafe.com/atmail
and login directly from there. |
| Is
the password I use to access the Member Admin console the same password
I use to access my email?
Yes. However, you can change either password independent of each
other. For example, if you change your password to access the Member
Admin, you will still have to use your original password for the
email. If you want the new password to be used for your email,
you will have to change your password in the Password Utility section
of Attorney Café email. |
